			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Now that the busy holiday season is over, you have more time to do something for yourself. Yoga classes will help you in so many ways. Relaxation, flexibility, improved concentration, better well-being and increased strength are some of the reasons people do yoga. Try Howe 2 Yoga at the Petawawa Library, Rotary. Classes are held Wednesday evenings from 7 to 8 pm. Drop ins are welcome.</p>
<p>Cost is 5 classes for $40 or $9 per individual class.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Gentle Yoga for All Body Types to alleviate stiffness and build strength</strong></p>
<p>Freedom of movement with less stiffness, more strength and flexibility, or the need for stress relief are some of your goals for 2012, then this class is for you. By focusing on mindful breathing, and coming to your centre, you will gain valuable body awareness and a general overall sense of well-being. Co-ordinating breath with movement will gently open up stiff bodies.</p>
<p>Standing poses will develop stability, strength and flexibility. Twists will energize and release toxins. Simple back bends will open the heart and lung centre, helping both to function better. This class will be geared to the needs of the participants and will meld together elements from both traditional Hatha Yoga and alignment principals of Anusara Yoga.</p>
<p>Classes held at the Petawa Public Library, Rotary Room, Wednesday evenings from 7 to 8 pm. Cost is $9 per class or 5 classes for $40.</p>

<p>Classes are based on hatha yoga and incorporates principles of alignment to help free stiff joints and stretch overworked muscles. Modifications and props will be used if needed.* Classses designed for the wants and needs of participants.</p>
<p>In addition to helping with flexibility and strength, yoga also relieves stress and tension, improves the immune system and overall well-being, plus detoxifies the body. Yoga is designed to systematically stimulate and restore health to every muscle, joint and organ of the body. It’s also a good compliment to any other exercise program.</p>
<p style="text-align:center;"><strong>Cost:</strong></p>
<p>Group sessions&#8211;$9 per class per person, or 5 classes for $40. Minimum 3 people.</p>

<p><strong>Instructor</strong>:  Linda Sitler-Howe, studied Yoga at Sheridan College and at a variety of advanced-teacher programs. As well she has studied anatomy and body movement, with especial emphasis on how it impacts yoga postures. She has 11 years experience in aiding students to achieve optimum levels of fitness, health and well-being.</p>
